HOW CAN ABA HELP YOUR CHILD?

Applied Behavior Analysis is internationally recognized as an evidence-based practice that is both safe and effective in the treatment of behavior challenges that manifest as result of a developmental disorder, such as an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
 

ABA Providers use theoretical concepts from the science of behavior analysis to systematically increase certain behaviors while decreasing other behaviors based on the functions of those behaviors. The goal is always to increase adaptive, prosocial behaviors that benefit the client directly, while decreasing inappropriate, maladaptive behaviors that interfere with functional living goals.

  WHAT IS A BEHAVIOR ANALYST?

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or BCBA®is a skilled professional, deemed to have specific expertise in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis. A BCBA® has the minimum of a Masters Degree, has completed extensive graduate-level course work in Applied Behavior Analysis, and is credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®, Inc. (BACB®), an internationally recognized credentialing board.  BCBA®’s are generally fascinated by the science of learning and enjoy helping people improve their lives through ABA.
